Synopsis
Silvio refuses to fight for the fascists and joins the resistance with Elena. Reporter after the war, his sulphurous articles earned him prison sentences. Despite the birth of a son, he refuses to fall into line. Elena leaves him. Changing then his way of thinking, he becomes rich and famous, until his conscience forces him again to revolt against the established order.
