Synopsis
Ruth and Michel separate after Ruth finds another man, Paul. Ruth and Paul go to his sunny, idyllic villa by the beach to spend the summer. They have a great time together, and then things start to happen. The car's brakes fail and Ruth narrowly escapes death. The riding gear is faulty and Ruth nearly drowns. Michel shows up at their door for an uninvited social call, and Paul asks him to come in. Ruth suspects Michel of being the person behind the mechanical faults in the car and the scuba gear, but Paul dismisses such a possibility - but he suggests it to Michel. Then the heat rises.
