Synopsis
Belfast, Danny Flynn had the makings of a boxing champion and dreamed of a happy future with his fiancée Maggie. Joined the ranks of the IRA, he was accused of an attack he did not commit and sentenced to fourteen years in prison. Danny remains silent and does not denounce any of his fellow fighters, but he distances himself from them as from his past, and frees Maggie by agreeing that she marry his best friend. Today, Danny is free. In his old district, devastated by the war, the boxer goes up the slope.
