Synopsis
A series of brutal and bloody murders are committed in Rome. All of the victims are high-profile personalities with apparently no connection to each other other than their popularity with the general public. Valerio, a small-scale journalist employed by a tabloid newspaper to answer readers' letters, is contacted by the assassin who systematically warns him of his crimes. The journalist thus manages to find himself first at the scene of the murders and imagines he can relaunch his career with the daily newspaper that employs him. He decides to conduct his own investigation to unmask the assassin as the list of victims continues to grow and the police begin to suspect him.
