Synopsis
At the dawn of the 16th century. To chase the Turkish armies from the country, the King of Poland appealed to the Cossack people, but he betrayed his ally on the evening of victory. Now scattered all over the steppes of Ukraine, the Cossack tribes await the day of revenge, especially Taras Bulba, one of their main leaders. By sending his two sons to study with the enemy, he believes he has found a way to get to know him better in order to then fight him more easily. But one of them falls in love with the governor's daughter.
