Synopsis
 Arriving in the United States after fleeing Nazi Germany, Douglas Sirk became one of the greatest Hollywood filmmakers of the 1950s. For a decade, the filmmaker established himself as the undisputed master of melodrama. At Universal, he sublimates female stars such as Barbara Stanwyck (All I Desire), Lana Turner (Mirage de la vie) or Dorothy Malone (La Ronde de l'aube) and reveals the talent of Rock Hudson (Tout ce que le ciel allows), to whom he gives his most beautiful roles over a collaboration of 9 major films. This set brings together 14 masterpieces produced during this masterful period from 1951 to 1959, from the best known such as The Time to Love and the Time to Die or Written on the Wind to more confidential nuggets such as Tomorrow is Another Day. .
