Synopsis
 As Mr. Spock, Captain Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise escort Chancellor Gorkon to the conference center where he is to sign a peace accord with the Klingon Empire, their ship is attacked and the Chancellor is shot down. Chang, general of the Klingons, accuses Kirk that he is sending along with Doctor McCoy to the Rura Penthe ice prison. Mr Spock has only a few days to save his friend and maintain the threatened peace.
