Synopsis
July 1950. The body of the Sicilian bandit Salvatore Giuliano is discovered in the courtyard of a house in Castelvetrano. A commissioner draws up a brief report, journalists gather some information. Later, his body was exhibited in Montelepre, his native town; the crowd comes to meditate there, his mother mourns him.
