Synopsis
 Laurence Jeffries, a famous psychiatrist wants revenge on his wife, Frances, and her lover, Paul Damien. He takes in an amnesiac man, a former rapist, in his home in order to set up a Machiavellian plan. He makes him believe that Frances is his wife in order to provoke his jealousy and turn him against Paul Damien, thus taking revenge by proxy.
