Synopsis
In the United States, inmates of a women's prison live in deplorable conditions. They not only have to make do with filthy cells, but also suffer the sadism of the head supervisor, an invalid and frustrated woman. Also, the prison doctor performs cruel experiments on unruly inmates. After an attempted mutiny, two prisoners know that they risk being taken back to the clinic, where the doctor will give them electroshocks. To escape the tortures, they decide to run away. They manage to create a diversion during work in the fields and manage to flee. They take advantage of their newfound freedom to try to get the other prisoners to escape.
The film is presented for the first time in France in full version on Blu-ray and on DVD in a new HD master with the choice between the two versions (long and short) for the first time on a video edition in the world.
