Synopsis
In 1930s Mississippi, Chicanaw. T. Dub and young Bowie Bowers escape from prison. Armed and dangerous, they turn to the only thing they know how to do: rob banks. In their frantic race to the Midwest, they leave behind a trail of empty coffers as the newspapers chronicle their exploits with passion. But, injured, Bowie is forced to hide on a farm. There he meets love in the person of Keechie, a simple and naive young woman.
