Synopsis
It's the day of the feast of fools on the square of Notre-Dame. Esmeralda, a magnificent gypsy with fiery eyes, dances and arouses the desire of all the men around, in particular that of Frollo, priest and alchemist of Notre-Dame who observes her through a window. Crazy with passion, he tries to remove it the same evening with the help of Quasimodo, a deformed and devoted being, whom he has collected in the cathedral. Esmeralda escapes them and soon finds herself in the arms of a handsome officer. Frollo, devoured by jealousy, has her accused of murder and witchcraft.
