Synopsis
Nishi is a policeman. His wife has terminal cancer. Following a shooting, his partner Horibe becomes a paraplegic and another of his colleagues is killed. Nishi then resigns in order to commit a heist to repay large debts contracted with the yakuza and, ultimately, to find meaning in his life.
