Synopsis
Blanche, very beautiful, attractive, the focus of men and the object of jealousy of women, arrived three years ago in Clairval, a small provincial town, by marrying a seed merchant she met in Paris. Quickly widowed, Blanche runs the store alone and lives with a somewhat parasitic uncle who encourages her to look for a good match. Martin meets Blanche and between them, it is immediately the desire. It does not correspond to the rich ambitions of the beauty and her uncle, but Martin, a former mason and entrepreneur, will try to surpass himself by building the house of their love.
