Synopsis
M ontauban 1944. Julien Dandieu, a surgeon at the hospital, feels threatened by the militia who accuse him of treating the resistance fighters. In order to shelter them, he sends his wife and daughter to take refuge in the family castle located near a country village. But the German army in rout and some soldiers having nothing more to lose, engage in the worst abuses. One day, Julien arrives at the castle to find that his wife and daughter have been tortured, raped and killed by a group of soldiers.
