Synopsis
Germany, the early 1930s. As the Nazis tighten their grip on society as a whole, worker Peter Kürten seems to lead a mundane existence. Nothing indicates that he could be the killer of women whom the press nicknamed "the vampire of Düsseldorf". In love with Anna, a cabaret singer, he is nevertheless this formidable predator who seduces his victims before murdering them.
