Synopsis
In a Provençal valley, city dwellers come to settle in order to cultivate an abandoned land. In order to create friendly ties between all the inhabitants of the village, Louise organizes a big country lunch. Mathias, the trucker comes to his aid. Soon, they will love each other but preserving their independence. Mathias sells his truck and his house to live in an isolated shed and resumes his job as a roadmender. Some city dwellers, disappointed, prefer to leave the region.
Jean-Charles Tacchella (Cousin cousine, Dames galantes) explores the quest for simple happiness.
