Synopsis
- The Circus of Horrors (1960):
After a failed operation, Dr. Rossiter, a cosmetic surgeon, is wanted by the police. He fled to France under a false name and took over the management of an almost ruined circus. He recruits his staff from among disfigured people or criminals whose faces he remakes and does not hesitate to eliminate those who wish to leave the establishment. In ten years, he made the circus one of the most famous in Europe. A series of mysterious accidents involving the artists alert the police, but no crime can be proven. When the circus arrives in England, a detective is determined to uncover the truth...

In a deserted newsroom, Peter Stenning writes the greatest story the world has ever known: “In the next few hours the world will know whether this is the end or some other beginning”. All of the nuclear test explosions by the Americans and the Russians have changed the Earth's orbit, and it's hurtling toward the sun. Confusion sets in. But the simultaneous explosion of four bombs could stop this race towards catastrophe. Will the world be doomed or saved?
