Synopsis
December 23, 1787. The Royal Navy frigate Bounty sets sail from England for Tahiti where, by order of King George and the Admiralty, she is to load breadfruit trees. If the first part of the trip takes place without major incident, relations are strained between Captain Bligh and the crew after several failed attempts to round Cape Horn. However, it is the return that marks the break between the sailors and their captain, the former no longer accepting the iron discipline imposed on board the ship after having spent several months in paradise. The revolt rumbles, led by the second captain Fletcher Christian.
