Synopsis
In October 1963, the police discovered the bodies of two tax collectors in the countryside. The suspect is one of their colleagues: Iwao Enokizu, a con man with multiple convictions. Taking refuge in an inn in Hamatsu, Enokizu poses as a university professor and continues his misdeeds while his portrait is displayed all over Japan. The true story of an unscrupulous killer that society has turned into a monster.
