Synopsis
Although he had fought for the Union during the Civil War, John Ashley returned home to Texas. It is unsurprisingly received very coldly by the inhabitants, former Confederates. Worse still, the city is under the control of Benedict Holden, who does not hesitate to loot and kill for simple profit.
