Synopsis
1969 in Virginia. In Arlington Cemetery, a huge "stone garden", Jackie Willow is buried with fifteen of his comrades. Sergeant Hazard, present at the ceremony, retraces the personal history of this soldier whom he once chaperoned. Leaving for Vietnam with a head full of ideals, the naive Willow realizes with despair that this war should never have taken place.
