Synopsis
Based on a lurid novel by Mickey Spillane, this violent crime drama begins when a former war buddy of detective Mike Hammer is brutally murdered, Spillaine's famous PI enters the city's fetid criminal underbelly to avenge his death. During his investigation, Hammer falls in love with a lady psychiatrist and decides to marry her. Unfortunately, she is not nearly as nice as she seems.
