Synopsis
London, 1970s – American engineer Robert Caine plans to build a thermonuclear power station in the West Bank, the energy produced from which would be able to feed a large part of the Third World. Despite the precious help of his son Angel, Caine sees his project challenged by many luminaries. But, more seriously still, the fiercest opponents to the construction of this plant died in strange circumstances. With the support of a journalist, Sara Golan, Caine gradually realizes that his invention could lead to the most gigantic catastrophe the world has ever known, similar to the apocalypse described in the New Testament!
