Synopsis
Rome, 1970s - The Italian capital suffered a scorching summer and an inexplicable wave of suicides. This anxiety-provoking climate has harmful effects on Simona Sanna, a young pathologist at the morgue. Overworked, she begins to experience hallucinations. At the same time, her relationship with her boyfriend Edgardo Fiorini, a photographer, deteriorates. It was then that she met Paul Lenox, a priest convinced that his sister did not commit suicide as he was told. Simona agrees to help him in his investigations.
