Synopsis
Frédéric Moreau, a young provincial of modest origins, goes to live in Paris and is hosted by wealthy cousins: the Dambreuses. Frédéric meets Anne Arnoux, a young middle-class woman married to an unfaithful husband, and he immediately falls in love with her.
