Synopsis
A man, plunged into misfortune after the suicide of his fiancée, discovers the atrocities endured by his samurai ancestors since the 17th century in the name of the honor code of bushido. This caste of military nobility carried out acts of violence at the behest of feudal lords, but suffered even more from their cruelty, often being forced into ritual suicide.
