Synopsis
Jovial, attentive, the judge for children Lamy is fundamentally good. He does not believe in the virtue of blows any more than in that of penitentiaries, and he does not punish. He thinks that in a child there is always something to save. Francis, a "tough man" despite his 15 years, born of an unknown father, an orphan of a demented mother, flanked by a doting grandfather and an alcoholic grandmother, stole wallets from the locker room of a stadium.
