Synopsis
Leonora, a bereaved prostitute, meditates on her daughter's grave, when she is taken to task by Cenci, a rich orphan heiress who invites her to his huge home. She seems to take her for her mother, who was supposed to have died several years ago. As Albert, the girl's disturbing stepfather, walks around the house, a strange relationship develops between the two women.
