Synopsis
Sam Gillen manages to escape from prison and takes refuge in a wood near the house of a widow, mother of two children. She is often the victim of intimidation attempts by a real estate developer and one day Sam decides to intervene. Alas, an ex-boyfriend of Clydie's is a corrupt policeman working on behalf of the crooked businessman and he immediately recognizes the fugitive savior.
