Synopsis
Helen Lyle is a graduate student at the University of Chicago writing a thesis on urban legends. During interviews conducted as part of her research, she hears about a local legend called Candyman – a mysterious hook-wielding killer who appears when you say his name five times in front of a mirror. Convinced that she has an interesting lead for her thesis, Helen goes, with her friend Bernadette, to Cabrini Green, a city that would be the "territory" of Candyman.
