Synopsis
 England, 1750. Tolly, a young orphan, meets Black Jack, a highwayman who has just escaped hanging. The robber kidnaps Belle, a little girl whom her parents want to put in an asylum, and asks Tolly to watch her. The children manage to escape and join a group of carnies traveling the roads of the region.
