Synopsis
In a Spain oppressed by the Inquisition, Christopher Columbus, a passionate sailor, dreams of opening a new route to India. Despite many obstacles, he convinced Queen Isabella of Castile to support him and finance his project. On October 12, 1492, after a long and painful journey, his three caravels landed in San Salvador, a small island in the Caribbean Sea.
