Synopsis
Oregon, 1868. The Indian tribes of the region, practically all converted to Christianity, have buried the hatchet. Under the benevolent tutelage of Sergeant Bell, true guardian of their reserve, they revolt again, when a detachment of cavalry, commanded by Colonel Stedlow, throws a bridge over their river and begins to trace a road through their lands. . Galvanized by a young leader, Kamiakin, the Indians go on the attack, starting a new war that only Bell seems able to stop.
