Synopsis
Themroc, an old bachelor, model house painter, leads a monotonous life, until the day when an absurd incident pushes him to revolt. His boss dismisses him without serious reason. Like a wild animal, he goes into an incredible rage, quits his job and goes home. There, he transforms his room into a kind of den and leads the people of the neighborhood to return to the cave age. Spending the day making love, the neighborhood seems poised to bring a new world into being.
