The Insatiable presents… KonVolut

L'Insatiable , an unstable fanzine is pleased to announce the release of a new book / fanzine dedicated to cinema exploitation photography: KONVolut, alongside a collection: L'Insatiable

Konvolut: German word for “bundle”.

Bundle or "batch", not necessarily homogeneous.

This KONVolut is dedicated to cinema photography, advertising material designed to attract customers to dark rooms. An impure by-product of the 7th art, cinema photography is relegated to illustration. It is, however, an elsewhere in the film, a poetic relic of a lost world and a support for daydreaming. Wandering and deviance in the history of cinema; to make a film, his film. KONVolut is an experimental book, a rigorously a-scientific fantasy for fetish cinephiles and other dreamers, without words or instructions.

L'Insatiable, an unstable fanzine in principle devoted to Greek cinema, opens this special issue to the vast world and the beauties of a hazardous, compulsive and convulsive collection. So-called exploitation photos for films, seen or not, recovered at flea markets and from the scraps of merchants.

Constraints: owning the photos and maintaining their altered integrity. Digital restoration prohibited: pinholes, folds, tears, stains, full page and full view for random convolutions in the unbridled imagination of an extravagant filmography. »
