Synopsis
Aged seventeen, Bilitis is a student in a boarding school. Shortly before the summer holidays, which she is spending with her married friend Melissa, she has fallen in love with a photographer, but does not dare to take the first step. She witnesses the violence with which Pierre, Melissa's husband, forces her into sexual intercourse. Both then take refuge in a brief Sapphic adventure, which Melissa later puts an end to. Bilitis realizes that it is not her but her friend who needs the photographer and she returns to her boarding school without having found her true love.
