Synopsis
Billy Wilder dissects the Sherlock Holmes myth! In their apartment in Baker Street, Holmes and Watson see a young widow rescued from the waters of the Thames arrive. Calling herself Gabrielle Valladon, the latter seems to have amnesia but will quickly regain her memory. The sleuth and his teammate will be drawn into an extraordinary investigation, where they will meet Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock's brother, Queen Victoria and the Loch Ness monster.
