Synopsis
Billy Wilder dissects the Sherlock Holmes myth! In their apartment in Baker Street, Holmes and Watson see a young widow rescued from the waters of the Thames arrive. Calling herself Gabrielle Valladon, the latter seems to have amnesia but will quickly regain her memory.
