Synopsis
Sean Connery plays Mark Trevor, a World War II newsman with the BBC who's torn between two women. Glamorous Lana Turner is Sara Scott, the American reporter working in England whom Connery falls for. The two embark on a whirlwind romance — but it's an affair destined for tragedy. Glynis Johns portrays Connery's devoted wife, Kay, and when a sudden twist of fate brings the two women together in a small Cornish village, it's an emotional, climactic confrontation for all involved.
