Synopsis
A young Belgian manicurist, Carole, works and lives in London with her sister Hélène. Carole, introverted, has relationship problems with men. She pushes away Colin, who woos her and doesn't like Michael, her sister's lover. When she leaves with Michael, Carole gradually sinks into neurosis. Recluse, she falls into schizophrenia, and becomes haunted by noises.
