Synopsis

In the 1960s, a little girl on vacation in Florida takes in a baby alligator. Back in Chicago, his father throws him into the sewers. 12 years later, the alligator has grown well, in particular by eating the corpses of animals used for scientific tests. He is then attracted by the outside world which he will find more to his liking...

Victim of the toxic waste dumped in its swamp, a mutant alligator, which has become giant, attacks the inhabitants of the small neighboring town through the sewers. Nobody believing the rare witnesses who saw the monster, the murders multiply. A scientist and a cop lead the investigation.
