Synopsis
Winter 1944, in the Belgian Ardennes. Faced with the massive thrust of the Allies, the German forces led a counter-offensive as fierce as it was desperate. Directly under their fire, Lieutenant Costa and his platoon twice suffered severe losses, for lack of support from Captain Cooney, an officer as cowardly as he was incompetent. Fearing the criminal behavior of his superior, Costa swears, by engaging in a new mission, to make him pay the blood price of his men if he abandons them again. Returning alive from a dangerously receding front, he could walk the talk.
