Synopsis
To give himself the impression of being rich, Emmanuel Bonnavent, a bank employee, takes 800,000 francs from the cash register, with the intention of returning them the next day. But the director warns the whole family of his crime. To evade reproaches, Emmanuel fakes a heart attack, remains prostrate, thus discovering the feelings of each towards him.
