Synopsis
A young violinist in an orchestra in the provinces, Gilles arrives in Paris full of hope for the future. He is convinced that he will now be able to have his genius recognized. But soon, the cruel lack of money and the awareness of his mediocrity cause Gilles to sink into delinquency and dementia.
