Synopsis
On September 20, 1947, when the south of the island of Hokkaido was threatened by a typhoon, three men decided to flee by sea. After the storm, two unidentified bodies remained among the drowned. It is suspected that they are the murderers of the Sasada, pawnbrokers looted on the day of the bad weather. Inspector Yumisaka is looking for a third accomplice, Inugai, who has taken refuge with a prostitute.
