Synopsis
Accused of the murder of a wealthy widow, Barbara Graham appears before the judge and jurors in a hostile court. Between her dubious associations and her reputedly dissolute life, nothing pleads in her favour, not even her ex-husband who, under the influence of drugs, has no memory of her being by his side at the time of the events. Barbara further aggravates her case by agreeing to an investigator providing her with an alibi. A trap. Only Carl Palmberg, an expert psychologist, believes in his innocence, soon joined by a journalist who was recently convinced of his guilt.
