Synopsis
Valmont and his wife Juliette form a couple of libertines. They have no law but their pleasure. They are perfect accomplices for choosing their victims and imagining the conquests and abandonments of their respective mistresses and lovers. In Megève, Valmont sets out to conquer the young Cécile. He must defile her before his marriage to please his wife. But in his company, he meets Marianne. This woman is virtue incarnate, married and happy; in short, the tastiest game for a libertine. Soon ambiguous links are forged: does Valmont only want Marianne the better to lose her, or does he finally discover true love, the one who has no ulterior motives?
