Synopsis
1938, Pierre and Thérèse Gauthier run a mechanical repair shop and a gas station along a national road. An aerodrome inaugurated on their land will change their lives. Pierre, a former mechanic from Guynemer, feels taken back by his old passion for aviation when he sees the beautiful modern planes evolve. Every afternoon, he steals away from his family to give everyone in the neighborhood a first flight. One day his wife hears the news and asks him to give up this perilous sport. She still tries a baptism and for her it's a real revelation.
