Synopsis
At the end of the Civil War, Southern soldiers must return home, trying to survive in the smoldering rubble. Michael Random, known as California, befriends the young William Preston, going a long way with him. Northern bounty hunters kill William. California will take his medal back to the Preston family and avenge him.
