Synopsis
A young journalist investigates the psychic powers of Martha Travis, a young woman who travels the country with her father, preaching the good word here and there. Wallace is convinced that they are crooks, exploiting the gullibility and distress of their fellow citizens. Everything changes when Martha announces a series of terrible crimes: one by one, her prophecies come true.
